[Petites Fashion] Green Dress

But what this post is - all about real people(that's you and me) fashion, that are petite but not so skinny.  Outfits that I actually wore to work or go somewhere.
Okay, hands down...my favorite about this outfit are the pockets ♥  don't you just love it?  I mean....♥  I bought this dress from New York and Company  a couple years or so ago.  It still is looking great in person, the picture does not do justices at all.  Yeah, we all know I need a better camera.  It is no longer available but I've collected some dresses with pockets below, if you want to get one.

Then I paired this dress with my floral shoes.
I finished it off with an owl long necklace.

I hope you enjoyed my petites fashion post for today... Until then...

DIY Fall Decor | Handwritten Greetings Pumpkins

You must have read it before that I don't decorate Fall but the more I say it, the more it makes me want to decorate even more....

I don't know what's with fall...but...the falling colorful leaves on the ground & how it is blown away by the wind...or how crispy it is when you step on it...

wearing cozy soft sweaters...then scarf, leggings & boots...

It makes my mind and body happy...♥

So, I bought these large pumpkins at Rural King for $3.99 a piece...I know right?! who sells that cheap?!

They were actually ready for decorating in the front porch as is...
but why not personalized it with handwritten greetings...
I don't have the best handwriting okay...but it is personal...

So using a permanent marker, I used sharpie, I wrote "Welcome" on one pumpkin and "Friends" on the other.

The first trace does not look good because as we all know, the pumpkin's surface is not flat.
Carefully re-tracing it, as in a lot of steady hands and concentration.
That's what made the difference afterwards.  There are imperfections to it...and this is what it makes it different and personal...
Working on the second pumpkin was a little easier.  I had experience on the first one already lol!
Why so pretty when I finally took it out and put those large pumpkins on the front porch.
Easy and inexpensive project? check!

DIY Fall Decor | Burlap Wrapped Fall Wreath

What better way to welcome Fall than a wreath hanging on your front door.

Well this wreath only cost me the burlap, which is about $5 and the rest were fall decoration that I already owned.

Want to know how easy it is to make this one?  Yeah?  Okay.

I started with this wreath form that was from my Spring-Summer Wreath last year.
I carefully removed the fabric rosette & flowers and the love wood sign, that were attached to it, to have this form.
But of course you can always purchase this form from the dollar store.

To give it more volume and thickness, I wrapped the form with old shirts.
Once that was wrapped to the volume and thickness that I wanted, then goes the burlap wrapping with the help of hot glue gun.
This is my first time working with burlap and I tell you what - this thing drives me nuts, it sheds some pieces and by the time I got this done, my arms and my neck were itching...gah!

Oh well, I'd still use this thing again...it actually looks pretty....
It's the texture and warmth is what I love most about burlap.

Then attached some faux flowers that I bought from dollar store a couple of years ago.  You can actually see these flowers from my 2013 fall decor.

I manipulated those flowers to my liking then added few pieces of faux small pumpkins & gourds.
At this point, you can definitely choose to be done with this project.  But in my case, I added the letter T wooden letter which was from my last year's Christmas Wreath.
I love how it looks with our black storm door and the black trim around it ♥
