Our Master Bedroom

It's been almost two years now but I've never had the courage to let you guys tour my home.  If you haven't noticed, there is no House Tour tab on the top of my blog.

I may have shown some spaces, like my main entry decorated depending on the season or occasion.  Honestly, it makes me think that my home is not tour ready, not until I finish all of the projects.  Sometimes, it makes me feel insecure to see your homes, so beautiful and magazine-ready.

But one of the things that I will be doing this year is to show you our home one room at a time.  No fear!  Because I realize that a house can be a home when you put your own personal touch to it - that is unique to you.

And so, I let you in Our Master Bedroom.
Can you see the scratched paint of our bed?  Yes, we can repaint that one day.
On our bed you can see 4 decorative throw pillows.  These patterns are also available in my *PillowKisses storenvy store if you want to purchase.
To the right is a nightstand that has a lamp shade, family photos & an art frame.
Again, can you see the chipped paints of this nightstand? No?

How about how short my curtains are? Sure you can.
There is a solution to my short curtains but I didn't get to it yet.  One of these days hopefully.

To the left of our bed is a mirror dresser.
There we place the earring holder and necklace holder that were both diy projects.

One of the things on my list to diy is a watch holder.  That will also be placed on top of this mirror dresser.

Right in between the walk-in closet door & the master bathroom door is a full-length mirror.  Nothing fancy, just a regular mirror with black frame.
Thinking of putting a floor mirror to replace this small one in the future.

Hope you enjoyed the tour & I really want to hear some design decor suggestions.

Thank you and until the next room's tour!

  2. I love the colors you have went with in your master bedroom. Hey, hey ma'am.....every home is lived in and everything isn't perfect. I have a few chips on my wicker headboard and my son pick a patch of paint off the wall in my room. Everything can be retouched and it just shows that you live in your home. That is what it is for, don't stress silly. Have a great weekend.

  3. I've never done a home tour either, because my house isn't really how I want it to be right now. I always see everyone else's beautiful homes and wonder how they manage that. I've got 2 toddler tornados. lol My house never looks beautiful and you can always tell that children live here. Your master bedroom is lovely. :)
