Our 2013 Silver White Christmas Tree

I hope you all had an awesome Thanksgiving Celebration with your family & friends.

Let me share this special family thanksgiving photo with y'all.  This is my father & mother's first time to celebrate thanksgiving with us, hence it's special♥
Yeah, we do let our Turkey shine♥ gobble! gobble!

That is why, we wait until after Thanksgiving to put up our Christmas Tree & start decorating around the house.

And so "my two little elves", as you can see in the picture below -
were working overtime! lol!
My kids had so much fun decorating the Christmas tree!

I just did some tweaking to finally finish it off.  But good thing, you will not see here, that our tree is skirt-less!  (hoping to diy one before Christmas♥ )

All my silver & white ornaments are from Hobby Lobby that were on sale for 50%.

My goal was to keep it pure & simple as much as possible, that is why I chose to go for silver white decorations.
My favorite among all the ornaments are the snowflakes.
We also have some ornaments that my son did when he was on preschool & pre-K.
I made a bow out of ribbon to add some volume onto the decoration.
Our topper has been our Angel for the past 5 years & she's still is.

And finally, I draped some silver mesh over it.
I really love how it turned out♥

How about you, did you enjoy your Christmas tree decorating?

Have you tried decorating a fresh cut ones?  I know my blogger friend Rosey always do every year and her decorated fresh cut Christmas tree is BEAUTIFUL!  here take a look.

  1. Looks great Rea! Your two elves are so cute and I'm sure they had so fun decorating the tree. My toddler likes to pull the ornaments on our tree. Lol! I just kept ours simple too, just red and gold.

    1. thank you Vel! Truly a blessing to have my parents on Thanksgiving for the first time.
I don't blame your dad for not coming over at this time of the year at all because my parents are already dreading this cold weather.
