{DIY} Gold Sequin Top

While I like gold sequin tops, I don't really like how much it cost.

I was over at Hobby Lobby and saw a gold sequin fabric for a cheap.  And so when I purchased half a yard of that fabric, I could not make my own gold sequin top soon enough!
Want to know how easy was it to make it?

Fold your fabric like this.
Cut your fabric like this to make an opening.
So that when you open it - it should look like this.
And if you can sew a straight line, then this is going to be a piece of cake mini-cake for you!
And that is it! You will then have your own gold sequin top!  You can either wear it by itself or layer it with a coat.
I choose to layer mine with a black blazer when my girlfriends, The Mr. & I watched P!NK concert.
ps: THE best concert I've ever been to!
What do you think?  Would you wear something you sew to a night out or to a concert like I did?
