Memorial Day Strawberry Picking

Believe me or not, this was my first strawberry picking! ☺
Not just me but first for my husband, mom and dad and the kids too! ☺
And another thing to believe it or not {i should have titled this post as "believe or not" lol}
I did not know that strawberries just grow and spread across the ground.

I really thought that they grow from a tree....
How about you, did you do anything fun on Memorial Day?

  1. Looks delicious! For memorial day, took the kids to lunch at an Italian restaurant, out for a hike in a state park (that has a lot of Revolutionary War history), and topped it off with a paddle-boat ride. It was an awesome day!

    (I'd have traded some of my calzone for a handful of those strawberries!)

  2. Fun family activity! We have strawberries growing in fields all over here in Northern California. We see people picking them all along the side of the roads. :) I'd love to learn how to make strawberry jam! Great pictures!

  3. Now I am really wanting strawberries. I have always wanted to go strawberry picking but I have not come across a place that offers it near us in Kentucky. I am visiting from the Fun Friday Blog Hop. Thank you for hosting!
