Organized Plastic Containers

The Mr. and I are plastic containers users.
We use it for:
- our lunch food
- decanting snacks from large bags
- storing leftovers
- etc.

So those plastic containers are in frequent use - day and night.
But when they're not in use, they're inside this kitchen cabinet.
Looks organized huh!
But really, if either the Mr. or myself needs one container,
all the lids on top would topple down on to me!

it's either those containers or lids hit me on the head,
my face, or would just drop on the floor...

because the height of this cabinet is a little high for 5'1" like me..
uhm...unless of course if I wear a 3-inch high heels, which I don't at all inside my home! lol! who does?!
And so, these plastic containers needs to be corralled.
Bought two plastic shoe boxes from Dollar store.
Just kept plastic shoe boxes lids off,
and then place all the plastic containers on one and the lids on the other.

And here you go.
So, if we need it we just take down the plastic shoe box and choose what we need.
No more toppling over or falling down on the floor.
So happy!

Now, what about you? Any simple organizing that you have done lately?
Let's hear it!

  1. What a great idea. My husband's Tupperware is always falling all over the place. It drives me nuts. And, of course I were 3 inch heels around my house all the time :)

    Just kidding!!!
