Framed Wallpaper

Received some wallpaper samples from Farrow and Ball last week.

Yeah they will send it to you for free, no shipping if you go to their website and request samples.

When it arrived in the mail, I was so excited because the wallpapers are just so pretty.

That it made me think of making it as a wall art.

So I did...
Just placed my favorite three out of the ten samples that I requested, in a photo frame that I already have.

Isn't it pretty?

Now here it is on the kitchen wall around my Fridge Magnets Wall Art

What makes me so happy with this project is that I only spent 15 minutes
I did not spend anything!

What do you think?

And the Mr. - well let's call him "Mr. Claus" on this post - put up this lights.

Thanks to them :)

I hope y'all had an awesome thanksgiving weekend because my family and I had a blast!
Have you put up your Christmas tree and decors yet?

Not so...Fridge Magnets

In our old house, we used to put all our fridge magnets in the refrigerator door like they should be.
They are from places we've been to.

But when we moved to our current house in March this year,
those fridge magnets never made to the refrigerator door.

Because I just realized how clutter-looking they are on the refrigerator door.

But I don't want to get rid of those because they have meaning to our lives.
It remind us of the places that we've been to.

So I came up with an idea, instead of putting those in the refrigerator door
or just keep it hidden in a box somewhere -
Why not make it into a wall art?! Oh, yeah!

But let's all see how much fridge magnets I have.

Really, they're not too many.

So what I did was to place it in frame by removing the glass of the frame first.

Then I arranged the magnets on the board to see how it would look like and
to adjust the spacing as necessary to look all spread out and well-arranged.

To attach the magnets to the board, I used my favorite tool of all times - glue gun.
Attach the magnets one-at-a-time.

When all was glued to the board, I was so pleased.

And here it is up on the wall by the kitchen.

Now that looks pretty and organized :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

{2012} Day 10: 10 Days of Thanksgiving

Welcome to:

Bitter-sweet feelings for me....bitter because I have to wrap up my 10 Days of Thanksgiving
and sweet because today is Thanksgiving Day!

Happy Thanksgiving
to y'all my readers!!!

Today, I am thankful for the opportunity to build new friendships in this world of web.

New friends from:
It is truly fascinating, interesting and exciting to find new friends.

I am thankful for the technology, because it helps a lot in keeping and
nurturing the beautiful relationships with family and old friends.

Y'all inspire me to make my home better, learn something new to try on,
learn from the mistakes along the way
and most of all make me a better person.

And would like to end this post with this message:

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life.
It turns what we have into enough and more.
It turns denial into acceptance,
chaos to order,
confusion to clarity.
It can turn a meal into a feast,
a house into a home,
a stranger into a friend.
